The lush maritime forest, which lies just beyond the delicate sand dunes, is a haven for wildlife, and heron, deer and other animals roam the island. The ever-changing salt marshes harbor a variety of wildfowl and create an exquisitely balanced ecosystem that helps the island thrive.The island provides guests with a variety of activities, as well. The guests can enjoy over 30 miles of biking and hiking trails, glide through the waters on a kayak, enjoy a dolphin-watching cruise, or play any of the four golf courses on the island, as well as several other local courses. The Bohicket Marina on neighboring Seabrook Island has shopping and dining, and several water tours leave from the docks. The comfortable villas are between short distance from the beach. Furnished decks or screened porches face the wooded groves, peaceful lagoons, tranquil marshes, legendary golf courses, or Atlantic Ocean.
